The USPS Medium box will include approximately 9-13 sods of naturally dried turf. Aproximately, 9lbs.
Burning this product gives off a distinct aroma that is unique to the Irish Fireplace. Turf burns hotter than the same weight wood and will burn longer. To get the most from your turf, burn in an open fireplace.
Light the fire using wood or other fuels and when you are ready to settle down beside the fire add in 2 or 3 sods.
Repeat as needed.
